William Roache who plays Ken Barlow in the ITV soap Coronation Street is accused of seven alleged historic sex assaults on five girls. Liz Dux who represents 67 victims of Jimmy Savile told the Daily Star today that Slater & Gordon Lawyers has ‘set up a team to handle possible compensation claims against the star’.
Liz said that “compensation varies and depends on the effects alleged victims have suffered”. Slater & Gordon has urged alleged victims to consider pursuing civil cases against Roache, claiming they could be entitled to compensation even if he is cleared of criminal charges.
